Castelveder Franciacorta since 1975

The story of a company is the story of the people who founded it. Castelveder is the passionate tale of Renato Alberti and Elena Nulli, who, in 1975, driven by intuition and a deep belief that the secret to exceptional sparkling wine lay in their land, confidently planted the first vines on the hills of Monticelli Brusati.

This pioneering act marked the beginning of a journey of dedication and exploration. The result of this adventure are wines that are masterpieces of harmony, shaped by nature and tradition, enriched by uncertainties and trials, as well as by perseverance and patience to achieve the best.

Today, the cellar is led by the third generation of the Alberti family. Camilla and Francesco, the grandchildren of Renato and Elena, have taken the reins of the company and continue the Castelveder story. Through their dedication, they ensure that every bottle of Franciacorta continues to convey the magic and secrets of the bubbles discovered by their grandparents.

The Estate

A precious corner of Franciacorta

The Castelveder estate spans 10 hectares in Monticelli Brusati and produces approximately 60,000 bottles annually. This precious corner of Franciacorta, with its ideal geological mosaic and microclimate, provides perfect conditions for cultivating our grape varieties.

Our cellar, carved into the white majolica of this land, is the beating heart of our production. Here, Franciacorta bottles mature on the lees in an ideal environment for slow in-bottle fermentation, enhancing their unique characteristics.
