Curtefranca Monte della Rosa D.O.C. Castelveder
This wine is so-named because the grapes used in its production come from the vineyards
surrounding the Sanctuary of the "Madonna della Rosa"
The clusters are picked into shallow boxes, then gently de-stemmed. The must is
fermented in steel with ambient yeasts, then the wine is drawn off. A portion then
matures in small oak barrels, while the rest is transferred to glass-lined cement
vats, where it matures for 12-15 months. Only after this stage is the final blend
assembled.

Palate:
Notable dynamism and velvety smooth, vanilla-edged mouthfeel.
Serving suggestions:
especially recommended with first courses and second meat courses.
Grapes: 45% Merlot, 45% cabernet, 5% Barbera, 5% Nebbiolo.
